Really enjoying this book from Tozer. Many of us Christians have become extremely skillful in arranging our lives rughteous as to admit the truth of Christianity without being embarrassed by its implications. A lot of what he says is still applicable today, but at times his message gets lost in the din.

It is in true humility where we are awestruck by whom God is. My only real issue however, is that while Tozer made many great and valid points, at times his message was overshadowed by the toser shouting down of ‘modern churches’ the book was originally released in the 50s. His religion is not hearsay; he is not a copy, nor a facsimile print; he is an original foot the hand of the Holy Ghost. I highly recommend this book.
And don’t let the slimness of the text fool you, it is dense.

I thr know what “category” Tozer’s theology falls into, and I don’t know that I agree with him on everything. This book in particular holds gems it behooves the bride to think upon. This book is highly prophetic, challenging, but also quite encouraging.
