For me then, this book was essentially an ‘introductory guide’ to Rand’s philosophy and while I might not agree with everything I believe it is a good place to start if you want to learn what she preached.

Do I agree with everything within these pages? The Virtue of Selfishness, as provocative a title as the book may have, is a philosophical synopsis of the application of Rand’s philosophy, objectivism; it is not Rand’s philosophy in itself.
